My two months holiday had just ended last week. Instead of just rest and relax at home, I have traveled to some places and done some works. Since before the final exam of year four, my friend, Edmond and I had been planning to go Thailand-the country full of mystery, culture, art and smile. Soon after the exam, both of us hopped into the plane and fly over a duration of 1 hour and 45 minutes to reach Thailand for a 13 days trip. Our first stop was Bangkok - the capital city of Thailand.
In being the center of politic, economic and social for Thailand, Bangkok still preserve its culture and art, making it a diverse and exotic city. Being considered as one of the world's top tourist hotspot, Bangkok was crowded with foreigners. We stay in a guest house near Khao San Rd. - a very busy and hectic street where most tourists meet. Since Thailand is a Buddhist country, there are over hundreds of temples in Bangkok alone. And 80% of our trip in Bangkok is visiting temple or "Wat" in Thailand. The most important and Thailand's primary temple is Wat Phra Kaew, or the Emerald Buddha Temple. Along side is the Grand Palace, the King's official residence. Just 15 minutes away from Wat Phra Kaew is the Wat Pho, a temple which houses the longest reclining Buddha, measuring 46 meters. Across the Chao Phraya river is another notable temple, Wat Arun, or better know as Temple of the Dawn.

We also visited to Wat Saket, also known as Golden Mount Temple, famous with its large golden cupola; Wat Suthat and the Giant Swing; Wat Benchamobophit or Marble Temple; Wat Mahatat and so on. (too many of them, pictures speak a thousand words)
Of course, we didn't miss the famous floating market and other tourist's attractions like Victory Monument, Democracy Monument, The Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall and so on.
